Margaret Coleen Allen (nee McMicking) was the daughter of William Miles McMicking (1849-1935) and Dorothy Coleen Stewart (1852-1933). She was born in 1886.  She was known as Maggie Coleen. In 1906 at Liverpool, England she married John Allen. 

 

Margaret Allen was a popular stage actress who worked in New York and London during the 1920s and 1930s.  Her daughter (Adrienne Allen) followed her into the profession, as did her grandchildren.
