Hon. Frank Lindsay Bastedo, Lieut-Governor Saskatchewan was born September 10, 1886 at Bracebridge, ON., Canada and died February 15, 1973 at Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.  He was the son of David Edgar Bastedo (1860-1925) and Elizabeth Ann Oaten (1862-1918).  On July 12, 1911 in Toronto, ON., Canada he married first Alma Alberta Anderson (1886-1935). He married second Lillian Martha Michaelis (Feb 20,1899 - July 25,1977).
