Helen Henrietta Germain Boyd (nee McMicking) was born April 19, 1879 at St Kilda, NSW, Australia and died October 4, 1978 at San Mateo, California, USA - buried in Mannus Cemetery, Australia.  She was the daughter of Robert McMicking  (1826-1908) and Eleanor Jane Nicholson  (1845-1926).  On September 23, 1911 in the USA she married William Sprott Boyd (1879-1958).
