Anna Elizabeth Davie-Thornhill (nee Barlow) was born September 20, 1905 and died April 21, 1976.  She was the daughter of Sir John Emmott Barlow, 1st Baronet Barlow (1857-1932) and Anna Marie Heywood Denman (1873-1965). On November 12, 1930 she married Humphrey Bache Christopher Davie-Thornhill *  (1905-?).

 

* Humphrey Bache Christopher Davie-Thornhill was given the name of Humphrey Bache Christopher Davie at birth.  On April 1959 his name was legally changed to Humphrey Bache Christopher Davie-Thornhill.  Two of his children also changed their surname.
