Gilbert Hamilton MacMickin was born 1596 at Glenluce, Wigtonshire, Scotland and died unknown.  He was the son of Sir Gilbert MacMickin  (1548-1610) and Baroness Elisabeth Kennedy  (1567-1655).  He married Elizabeth Dowe (b.abt 1600, Ballincollig, County Cork, Ireland - d.?).

2  Alice MacMicken (b.1639,Scotland - d.?) - married Angus Cameron Stuart (Stewart?)
