Leighton M Manning was born January 5, 1918 at Seattle, Washington, USA and died November 13, 1942 at Guadalcanal, Solomon Islands.  He was the son of John Foster Manning (1881-1923) and Agatha Elaine Buie McMicking  (1885-1943).  He did not marry.
