William McKerlie was born March 26, 1860  at Stamford, Welland Co., Canada West and died March 19, 1921 at Norfolk Co, ON., Canada.  He was the son of Walter McKerlie  (1826-1898) and Caroline Stewart  (1830-?).  He married Theresa Fredericka Bannister (1867-1917).
