Andrew Jackson McMicken was born September 22,1817 at Spartanburg Co., South Carolina, USA and died July 1, 1900 at Williamson Co., Texas, USA.  He was the son of Andrew McMicken II  (1791-1853) and Elizabeth Ewer  (1791-1868).  On September 23, 1854 in Perry, Alabama, USA he married Margaret Ann Huggins (1828-1899).
