Edgar Leighton McMicking was born March 17, 1909 at Victoria, British Columbia, Canada and died November 23, 1979 at Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.  He was the son of Anthony Edgar Trimble McMicking (1880-1950) and Maude Ethel Bone (1879-1961).  On September 1934 in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada he married first Jessie Florence "Peggy" Frost.  He married second Dorothy Constance Tucker.
