Joseph Albert McMicking was born July 28, 1870, Brampton, ON, Canada and died January 2, 1927 at York Twp, (Toronto) ON, Canada.  He was the son of Benjamin McMicking  (1827-1912) and Clarissa Maria Lewis Carpenter  (1836 -?).  He married Mary Elizabeth Allen (1882-1927).
