Roderick Bruce McMicking was born March 31, 1912 at Victoria, British Columbia, Canada and died June 13, 1962 at Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.  He was the son of  Anthony Edgar Trimble McMicking (1880-1950) and Maude Ethel Bone (1879-1961).  He married Lilian Hannah McCall (1919-1998).
