Janet McBride (nee McMiken) was born 1746 at Glenluce, Scotland and died 1825 at West Virginia, USA.  She was the daughter of William McMicking (1727-1818) and Eleanor (Helen) Montague (1723 - ?).  In 1766 at New Luce, Scotland she married James Auburn McBride (McBryde) (1737 -?).
