Elva Jean Sandles (nee McMicking) was born in 1917 in Toronto, ON., Canada and died in 1996 in Kingston, ON., Canada.  She was the daughter of James Howard McMicking and Mabel Syrena Dawson.  In 1943 she married Thomas Arthur Sandles (1921-1994) in Toronto, ON., Canada.
