Harry James "Jimmy"Startin, Commander Royal Navy,  was born July 21, 1925 at Surabaya, Java, Indonesia and died July 8, 2012 at St Petersburg, Florida, USA. He was the son of Hal Startin (1901-1987) and Helen Tomlinson (1902-1997).  In 1949 in London England he married first Gwendolyn Myrtle Lidgate (1922-2011). They divorced *.   On April 4, 1968 he married second Lavinia Rohays Lomer (1939-?).  They divorced in 1973.  

 

There is no record of children.

 

* Harry reunited with his first wife Gwen after his divorce from Lavinia. They were together until her death
