Mary Adeline "Addie" Thompson (nee McMicking) was born July 3, 1867 at Stamford, Welland Co., Canada West and died March 24, 1932 at Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada.   She is the daughter of John Ewart McMicking  and Emily Elizabeth Gilchrest .  On October 25, 1885 in Stamford, ON., Canada she married Archibald Alfred Thompson.

1 Charles John Thompson (1886-1961) - married Etna Butler

2 Mary Ruth McMicking Thompson  (1896-?) - married Frank McIngraham (1865-1960)

3 James Richard Thompson (1904-?) - married Margaret C Benner

4 Edgar Ernest Thompson  (1906-1986) - married Helen Waters (1908-1994)
