Alexander Wilson was born April 1, 1814 at St Ninians, Scotland and died October 21, 1911 at Stirling, Scotland.  He was the son of John Wilson  (1802-1879) and Catherine Jane McMicking  (1814-1911).  He married Isabella Bruce.
