Sir John Kemp Barlow, 3rd Baronet Barlow. was born on 22 April 1934. 

He is the son of Sir JohnDenman Barlow, and Hon. Diana Helen Kemp. He married, firstly, SusanHorsbrugh-Porter 30 June 1962. He and Susan Horsbrugh-Porter were divorced in 1998. He married, secondly, Pauline Margaret Bancroft on 21 May 1998.

He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England. He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1956 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1958 with a Master of Arts (M.A.) He held the office of High Sheriff of Cheshire in 1979. He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Barlow, of Bradwall Hall, Sandbach, Cheshire [U.K., 1907] in 1986. He was Joint Master of Foxhounds, Cheshire in 1987.1 He was chairman of Majedie Investment plc. He was chairman of Thomas Barlow & Brothers Ltd. He lived in 2003 at Brindley, Nantwich, Cheshire, England.
