Mary Ellen Brolls (nee McMicking) was born 1784 at St Ninians, Lanarkshire, Scotland and died 1848 at England.  She was the daughter of Gilbert McMicking (1723-1800) and Jane Douglas (1758-1888).   On February 6, 1823 in Inch, Scotland she married John Brolls (1803-1864).
