Sherrill Anne Dorling (nee MacMicking)  was born 1939 in St Catherines, On., Canada and died December 4, 2009 in St Catherines, On., Canada.  She was the daughter of John Colin "Jack" MacMicking and Helen Isobel White.  She married Donald Dorling.

Sherry was a proud member and former Secretary of the United Empire Loyalists' Association of Canada, Past President of the Niagara Peninsula Needle Arts Guild and was on the Boards of Directors of the St. Catharines Collegiate Alumni Trust and Theatre Beyond Words
