Jane Maitland Harper (nee McMicking) was born March 11, 1816 at St Ninians, Scotland and died June 18, 1860 at Bothwell, Scotland.  She was the daughter of  Thomas McMicking (of Miltonise) (1786-1866) and Jane Morin  (1787-1875).  On June 16, 1845 at Saint Ninians, Stirling,  Scotland she married Rev. John Harper.

   

 

Children:

1  Jane Helen Morin Harper Rintoul (1847-?)   - married Robert Rintoul

2  Margaret Davida Harper, (Nov 24,1849-1872)

3  John Maitland Harper, (July 16,1852-?)

4  George McMicking Torrance Harper, (1857-1938).
