Bertha Agnes Johnson (nee McMicking) was born June 22, 1879 at Stamford, Ontario, Canada and died April 19, 1916 at Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.  She was the daughter of James Russell McMicking (1836-1917) and Margaret Alice "Maggie" Shugg (1848-1929).  On March 7, 1906 at Stamford. Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada she married Calvin Johnson (1869-1950).

 

"Bertha was the only daughter of James Russell McMicking with his second wife, Maggie Shugg.  Born on the 22nd of June, 1879. She died at the age of 36 on 19th of April, 1916 about a year before her father died and is buried in the cemetery beside the Stamford Presbyterian Church in Stamford, Ontario, Canada.  She had a boy and a girl."...Mary Adeline Thompson
