Sara Johnston (nee McMicking) was born July 4, 1797 at Stamford Township, Lincoln County, Upper Canada and died May 13, 1873 at Brampton, Peel County, Ontario, Canada.  She was the daughter of  Thomas McMicking IV (1749-1830) and Isabella Gass  (1767-1830).  In 1820 in Brampton, Peel Co., Upper Canada she married William Johnston, UEL (1791-1784).

3  Isobel Lucy Johnston  (b.1832)

4  Jane Johnston  (1833-1867)  - married James Haggert (1827-?)

5  Sarah Johnston  (1834-1911)

6  James B Johnston  (1837 - 1875)  - married Clementina Rosamond Ramsey  (1843-?)

7  Georgina Ellen Johnston   (b.1839).
