Thomas Gordon McMeekin was born November  20,1872 at Oxford Co., Ontario, Canada and died October 12,1929 at Pennsyvania, USA.  He was the son of  Samuel Douglas McMeekin  (1819-1901) and Elizabeth Martha Mitchell  (1827-?). In 1890 in Fort Erie, ON., Canada he married Joan Spencer Grant  (1871-1950).
