Herbert Raymond McMicking was born January 26, 1904  at Dundas, Ontario, Canada and died 1978  at Detroit, Michigan, USA. He was the son of James Stamford McMicking (1867-1932) and Mercia "Mercy" Jones (1881-1963).   In 1929 in Detroit, Michigan, USA he married Muriel Howe (1905-1983).
