Thomas McMicking was born April 16, 1829 in Stamford, Lincoln Co., Upper Canada and died August 25, 1866 near New Westminster, British Columbia.  He was the son of William McMicking  and Mary McClellan .  He married 1853 in Stamford Laura Chubbuck,  daughter of Job Samuel Chubbuck and Sophronia Smith. She was born September 13, 1835 in Queenston, Lincoln Co., Upper Canada and died March 8, 1923 in St Catharines, On., Canada

1 Thomas Alexander McMicking (1856-1879)

2 Laura Augusta McMicking (1857-1940)

3 William Francis "Frank"  McMicking (1860-1866) - drowned with father 

4 Robert Lincoln McMicking (1867-1938)

5 Samuel Chubbuck  McMicking (1865-1873) - died from "abcess on neck"
