William Walter McMicking was born 1843 at Peel Co., Canada West and died April 3, 1927 at Bloomington, Hennepin, Minnesota, USA.  He was the son of Thomas Walter McMIcking (1794-1857) and Margaret Catherine Lewis (1806 -?).  On December 25, 1882 at Monticello Twp., Wright Co., MN, USA he married Alice Clara Jackson  (Feb 3,1859-1888).
