Christy Eleanor Nielson (nee McMicking) was born February 8, 1852 at Stamford Township, Welland Co., Canada West and died February 14, 1925 at Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.  She was the daughter of James W McMicking (1811-1891) and Mary Thompson (1828-1919).  On February 25, 1880 in Dundas. ON., Canada she married William Nielson (1838 -1907).
