Eleanor Rowe (nee McMicking) was born February 13, 1790 at the Village of Stamford, Township #2, Nassau District, Quebec Colony and died  May 31, 1859 at Chinguacousy Township, Peel County, Canada West.  She was the daughter of Thomas McMicking IV  (1749-1830) and Isabella Gass  (1767-1830).  In 1821 in Bampton, Peel Co., Upper Canada she married Peter Rowe UEL (1792-?).
