Loyd Edward Welter was born February 13, 1889 at Frome, ON., Canada and died March 7, 1964 at Sandpoint, ID., USA.  He was the son of Montford Delos Welter (1859-1899) and Mary Ann "Minnie" Sims (1863-1949).  On April 8, 1912 at Havre, Hill, MT, USA he married Laura Amelia Clemence (1889-1980).
