Andrew Thomas McMickin was born 1717 at Wigtown, Wigtonshire, Scotland and died 1756 at Wigtown, Wigtonshire, Scotland. He was the son of Thomas MacMickin (1689-1782)  and Elizabeth McHarg (1692-1781).  In  1737 at Glenluce (Old Luce), Scotland he married Sarah Coyd (1719-1785).

1  Thomas James McMickin  (1739 -?)    - married Veronica Leslie (1745-1778)

2  James Andrew McMicken  (1741-1786)

3  Gilbert James McMicken  - married Margaret Cameron Stewart
