Germain Nicholson McMicking was born July 15, 1870 at St Kilda, NSW, Australia and died February 10, 1921 at Melbourne, Australia.  He was the son of Robert McMicking (1826-1908) and Eleanor Jane Nicholson (1845-1926).  On March 9,1898 at Wooloowin, Australia he married Amy Sarah Cameron (1870-1951).
