Helen Mary Denman Walker Primrose (nee McMicking)  Lady Primrose, was born May 13, 1852 at Miltonise, New Luce, Wigtonshire, Scotland and died June 11, 1919 at Edinburgh, Scotland.  She was the daughter of  Gilbert McMicking of Miltonise  (1823-1890) and Helen Mary Macfarlane (1824-1883).  On May 31,1871 at Edinburgh, Scotland she married first Richard Denman (1842-1883),  They divorced in 1878.  On April 16,1879 at Paddington, UK she married second James Montgomery Walker.  They divorced 1888 (desertion),  On November 3, 1888 she married third Sir Henry Primrose (22 August 1846 – 17 June 1923).

2  Hon. Thomas Denman, Gov-Gen  (1874-1954)

3  Sir Richard Douglas Denman, MP  (1876-1957)

 

Child with James Montgomery Walker:

1  Helen Gladys Montgomery Walker (b.1881)

 

Child with Sir Henry Primrose:

1  Archibald Henry Reginald Primrose (b.Dec 14,1889 - d.Aug 20,1963)
