Sarah Catherine Keefer (nee McMicking) was born 1814 at Stamford Township, Lincoln County, Upper Canada and died 1882 at Thorold, Lincoln County, Canada West.  She was the daughter of Gilbert McMicking (1788-1846) and Catherine Swayze  (1793-1877).   On October 9, 1838 at Thorold,  Lincoln Co., Upper Canada she married John Keefer (1813-1892).

3  Charles Edward Keefer (Jan 28,1844-Oct 17,1870,Fort Sill, USA)

4  Mary Sarah Keefer (1845-?)

5  Hugh Forbes Keefer (1848-1912)

6  Anna Elizabeth Keefer (1854-1936).
