Gilbert MacMickin, The Covenantor (aka Gilbert The Covenantor) was born 1647 in New Luce, Wigtonshire, Scotland and died 1731 in New Luce, Wigtonshire, Scotland. He was the son of Thomas MacMickin  and Grizel Craufurd. He married Janet Macillwain (nee Auld) abt 1868, daughter of Stuart Aulde. She was born 1650.

 

 

Children:

1  Annabel MacMickin  (1686-1751)  - married Robert McCracken (1649-1731) 

1  Thomas MacMickin  (1689-1783)

2  William MacMickin (1700-1777)

3  John MacMickin (1702-1730)   - married Mary Duncan (sister of Madeleine who married William)
